Asthra- academic fest organized by Department of Mathematics, St. Thomas College (Autonomous), Thrissur was inaugurated today by Dr. A. Vijayakumar, Emeritus Professor, Department of Mathematics, Cochin University of Science and Technology.

As a part of this fest, today conducted

• Msgr. Thomas Moothedan Memorial Annual lecture seres
• Prof. M.D. Paul memorial intercollegiate interschool Mathematics Quiz competition
• Logical Aptitude test
• Puzzle solving competition

Tomorrow’s events are

• Mathematical treasure hunt
• Mathematics exhibition competition
• Speakathon
• Idea pitching competition
• Poster competition
• Various cultural programs- dance performances, fashion show, musical band etc.
  Above all, we care for the society, those who are in need. We are donating wheel chairs to charitable societies.
