St. Thomas College to Host Tribute Event Honoring Dr. Manmohan Singh’s Legacy

Thrissur, January 3, 2025: The Department of Economics at St. Thomas College (Autonomous), Thrissur, is organizing a special event to pay tribute to the late Dr. Manmohan Singh, former Prime Minister of India. This event will commemorate his remarkable contributions to India’s economic and political landscape.

The tribute will take place at Kaviprathibha Hall on January 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM.

The program will feature an impressive lineup of distinguished speakers:

• Sajive Manjila, Director of Manjilas Food Tech Pvt Ltd and President of the Thrissur Chamber of Commerce.
• CA. Satheesan P., a prominent Chartered Accountant.
• Dr. Muneer Babu M, an academic from the John Matthai Centre, Thrissur.
• Dr. Binu Ann Kuriachan, a respected economist from Vimala College, Thrissur.

The session will be moderated by Emmanuel Thomas, Head of the Department of Economics at St. Thomas College.
