Mega Campus Quiz 2025: Zonal Round at St. Aloysius College, Thrissur – A Grand Success!

The zonal round of Mega Campus Quiz 2K25 was held successfully at St. Aloysius College, Elthuruth, Thrissur on 30th January 2025. The event was organized by St. Thomas College, Thrissur (Autonomous) in association with Catalyst Education and CampusNews.in.

Event Highlights

The event was inaugurated by Mr. Deepak Ravindran, Business Development Manager of Catalyst Education. The gathering received a warm welcome from Ms. Nanet Joy, Head of the Department of Commerce, setting the stage for an intellectually stimulating competition.

With over 100 students participating, the competition was fierce. The quiz followed a structured format with 30 carefully curated questions, each with a one-minute response time. The automated system ensured a seamless experience, making the event both educational and engaging.

Exceptional Coordination & Student Enthusiasm

The Department of Commerce at St. Aloysius College, under the leadership of HOD Ms. Nanet Joy and Coordinator Ms. Delby Davis, played a pivotal role in organizing the event. Faculty members and volunteers provided immense support, ensuring smooth execution.

Students expressed their enthusiasm and appreciation for the well-structured quiz, which was both a learning experience and a competitive challenge.

Top Teams Advance to the Semi-Finals

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Delby Davis, marking the end of an inspiring competition. The top five teams from this zonal round have now advanced to the semi-finals. Each team is assured a minimum cash prize of ₹1,000 and will compete against winners from other zonal rounds.

The semi-finalists now gear up for the final showdown, scheduled for February 2025 at St. Thomas College (Autonomous), Thrissur.

Mega Campus Quiz 2K25 Prize Structure

The competition offers a prize pool of ₹60,000, distributed as follows:

• 🏆 Winners (Finals): ₹10,000
• 🥈 Four Runner-up Teams: ₹2,500 each
• 🎖 Semi-finalists (40 teams): ₹1,000 each
