Mega Campus Quiz 2K25 Zonal Round Successfully Conducted at Nirmala College, Meloor, Chalakudy

The Mega Campus Quiz 2K25, organized by St. Thomas College, Thrissur (Autonomous) in association with Catalyst Education and CampusNews.in, successfully hosted its zonal round at Nirmala College of Arts and Science, Meloor, Chalakudy on January 27, 2025, at 10:30 AM.

A Grand Inauguration & Warm Welcome

The event was inaugurated by Dr. Shaju Nalkara Ouseph, Principal of Nirmala College of Arts and Science, Meloor, Chalakudy. Dr. Bindu V, Head of the Department of Commerce, delivered the welcome address.

Adding to the significance of the occasion, Mr. Deepak Ravindran, Business Development Manager of Catalyst Education, felicitated the gathering, emphasizing the importance of such knowledge-driven competitions.

Over 100 Students Competed in a Highly Engaging Quiz

More than 100 students participated enthusiastically in this intellectually stimulating event. The quiz featured a well-structured format, comprising 30 questions, each with a one-minute time limit. The questions, designed by CampusNews.in, were unique, educational, and engaging, ensuring a seamless and automated experience for participants.

Meticulous Planning by the Department of Commerce

The Department of Commerce at Nirmala College, under the leadership of Dr. Bindu V (HOD) and coordinator Riya Joju, along with faculty members and dedicated volunteers, efficiently organized the zonal round. The meticulous planning ensured the smooth execution of the quiz, earning positive feedback from participants.

Top Five Teams Move to Semi-Finals

The top five teams from this zonal round have secured their spots in the semi-finals, guaranteeing a minimum third prize of ₹1,000. These teams will now compete against winners from other zones in the upcoming semi-final and final rounds, scheduled for February 2025 at St. Thomas College (Autonomous), Thrissur.

Exciting Prize Pool of ₹60,000 for the Mega Campus Quiz 2K25

The Mega Campus Quiz 2K25 offers an impressive total prize pool of ₹60,000. The winning team in the finals will receive ₹10,000, while the four runner-up teams will be awarded ₹2,500 each. Additionally, all 40 semi-finalist teams will receive a minimum prize of ₹1,000.
