The Research and Development Cell of St. Thomas College (Autonomous), Thrissur, recently hosted the International Conference on Transformative Multidisciplinary Research-2025 (ICTMR-2025), with the theme โ€˜Green, Clean, and Sustainable Futureโ€™. This prestigious event brought together leading scholars, researchers, and academicians to discuss the latest advancements in sustainable research and environmental innovation.

A Grand Inauguration

The conference was inaugurated by Dr. P. Raveendran, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Calicut. He recognized St. Thomas College as one of the premier institutions excelling in research under the University of Calicut. In his address, he emphasized the urgency of sustainability in todayโ€™s world, applauding the conferenceโ€™s focus on transformative research for a better future.

Keynote Address on Transformative Research

Dr. Sabu A, Member Secretary of the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology & Environment (KSCSTE), delivered the keynote address. He highlighted the essential role of transformative research in scientific progress and societal development. Encouraging collaboration across disciplines and institutions, he called for a collective effort in enhancing research outcomes.
