This prestigious event brought together leading scholars, researchers, and academicians to discuss the latest advancements in sustainable research and environmental innovation. A Grand Inauguration The conference was inaugurated by Dr. P. Raveendran, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Calicut. He recognized St. Thomas College as one of the premier institutions excelling in research under the University of Calicut. In his address, he emphasized the urgency of sustainability in todayโs world, applauding the conferenceโs focus on transformative research for a better future. Keynote Address on Transformative Research Dr. Sabu A, Member Secretary of the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology & Environment (KSCSTE), delivered the keynote address. He highlighted the essential role of transformative research in scientific progress and societal development. Encouraging collaboration across disciplines and institutions, he called for a collective effort in enhancing research outcomes. Distinguished Speakers & Eminent Academicians The conference featured talks from esteemed scholars, including: Dr. Justin James & Dr. Maha Al-Anqoudi (University of Technology and Applied Sciences โ Nizwa, Sultanate of Oman) Dr. Sajish Mathew (University of South Carolina, US) Dr. V. K. Karthika (NIT, Tiruchirappalli) Dr. V. Venugopal (Former Scientist, BARC, Mumbai) Their discussions revolved around sustainability, green technology, and resilient economies, providing valuable insights into global research trends. Honoring Excellence in Research The conference also celebrated meritorious researchers with the Santhome Research Awards, recognizing their contributions to the field. Researchers had the opportunity to present their work on vital theme areas such as: Conversations on Sustainability Sustainable Urbanization and Resilient Economies Green and Clean Technology A Step Towards Collaborative Research Adding to the academic rigor, the conference will be followed by Samavaya โ the Annual Research Scholars Meet on Saturday, 8th February. This session aims to foster research networking and discussions among young scholars, furthering interdisciplinary collaborations.
