Koduvayur, Palakkad – On June 5, 2025, Marian Arts & Science College, Koduvayur, celebrated World Environment Day with a vibrant set of eco-friendly activities that promoted environmental awareness and community responsibility.

🌱 Event Highlights

• The programme was inaugurated by Principal Dr. Sr. Prima, who delivered an inspiring speech about the importance of environmental protection and the role of youth in shaping a sustainable future.
• A warm welcome was extended by Ms. Jayasree from the Commerce Department.
• The event was coordinated by Rev. Sr. Josephine, Vice Principal and Academic Coordinator, and Ms. Manjula Krishnan, Staff Secretary.

🌍 Student Participation and Activities

• Students enthusiastically participated in sapling planting activities, both at home and on the college campus.
• A special oath-taking ceremony was led by student representative Annusree Kannan, where students and staff pledged to protect and preserve the environment.
• The day’s programs reinforced the importance of sustainable living and environmental responsibility among the college community.
