Cookery Club of Saint Thomas College Autonomous Thrissur Distributes Onam Snacks as part of Onakalavara 2024

The Cookery Club of Saint Thomas College Autonomous Thrissur organized a grand distribution of Onam snacks for all the teachers and students who had placed orders. The event was inaugurated by Principal Dr. Martin K.A., who kick-started the program. Executive Manager Fr. Biju Panengaden had the honor of being the first customer.

An impressive 200 kilograms of snacks were distributed by the Cookery Club, showcasing their dedication and hard work.

The principal, Dr. Martin K.A., personally distributed the snacks to the vice principals, Dr. Anil George K., Dr. Vimala Jose, and Dr. Febin Baby, as well as the Dean of Arts, Humanities, and Commerce, Dr. Biju John M. ,College Superintendent Jensen V.D. and College Club coordinator, Dr. Mejoy Jose.

As part of this Onakalavara, the Cookery Club also distributed onam snacks to foreign students from England who have come to study in the college. The event aimed to share the spirit of Onam with international students and make them feel welcome in India.

Club Coordinator Dr. Divya George welcomed the gathering and other Coordinators Dr Sowmia Rajan, Dr. Shemi John, Alice N K, Ritusree K J and Anusree, ensured the smooth execution of the snack distribution.

Student coordinators from the Cookery Club Mr. Josemon, Nandana K.U., Arathi, Vinayak, and Anna coordinated the event as representatives of the club.

This initiative by the Cookery Club of St.Thomas College Autonomous Thrissur brought joy and festive cheer to the entire college community, celebrating the spirit of Onam with delicious snacks and warm hospitality.
