The zonal round of the Mega Campus Quiz 2K25, organized by St. Thomas College, Thrissur (Autonomous) in association with Catalyst Education and CampusNews.in, was successfully conducted on February 4, 2025, at 2 PM at Naipunnya Institute of Management and Information Technology, Pongam.

Grand Inauguration and Participation

The event was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Dr. Paulachan K. J, Principal of Naipunnya College, Pongam, in a grand ceremony. Dr. Joy Joseph Puthussery, IQAC Coordinator, facilitated the function, setting an enthusiastic tone for the competition.

With around 100 students participating, the competition showcased remarkable enthusiasm and a high level of engagement.

Quiz Format & Execution

The quiz featured 30 uniquely crafted questions by CampusNews.in, with one minute allotted for each question. The automated quiz format ensured a seamless and engaging experience, making it more than just a competitionโ€”it was an educational experience.

The event was efficiently organized by the coordinator, Ms. Noble Devassy, with the support of dedicated teachers and volunteers. Participants appreciated the well-structured format and the insightful questions.

Advancement to Semi-Finals & Prize Details

Top teams from this zonal round have advanced to the semi-finals, where they have already secured a minimum prize of โ‚น1,000. The semi-finals and finals will be held in February 2025 at St. Thomas College, Thrissur.

The total prize pool of the Mega Campus Quiz 2K25 stands at โ‚น60,000, with the winning team in the finals receiving โ‚น10,000. The four runner-up teams will each be awarded โ‚น2,500, and all 40 semi-finalist teams are assured a minimum cash prize of โ‚น1,000.

Vote of Thanks

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Noble Devassy, the coordinator of the zonal quiz, expressing gratitude to the participants, volunteers, and organizing committee.

The Mega Campus Quiz 2K25 has once again proven to be a thrilling and enriching competition, inspiring students and fostering a love for knowledge. The participants left the event with a sense of accomplishment and excitement for the upcoming rounds.
