Candlelight Vigil to Light the Path Against Drugs in Kerala

Thrissur City Police is set to organize a heart-touching community event titled “Oru Thiri Ponvettom” — a symbolic candlelight vigil as part of its anti-drug awareness initiative. The event will take place on June 26, 2025, from 6 PM to 7 PM at the iconic Vadakkumnathan Temple Ground, Thrissur.

🌟 Event Highlights

• Theme: “Oru Thiri Theliyunnu, Lahari Virudha Prathijnayum!”
  (A candle is lit, along with a pledge against intoxication)
• Date & Time: 26 June 2025, 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
• Location: Vadakkumnathan Temple Ground, Thrissur
• Organized by: Thrissur City Police in association with RG Events
• Chief Guests:

🎯 Objective

This community-driven program aims to raise awareness among the youth and public about the dangers of drug use. The symbolic candlelight vigil encourages every participant to take a pledge to stay away from drugs and promote a healthy society.
