Mega Campus Quiz 2K25 Zonal Round Held Successfully at St. Joseph’s College, Irinjalakuda

The Zonal Round of the Mega Campus Quiz 2K25, organized by St. Thomas College, Thrissur (Autonomous) in collaboration with Catalyst Education and CampusNews.in, was successfully conducted on January 27, 2025, at St. Joseph’s College, Irinjalakuda (Autonomous).

Event Highlights

• Inauguration: The event was inaugurated by Mr. Deepak Ravindran, Business Development Manager of Catalyst Education, at 2 PM.
• Participation: Around 200 students enthusiastically took part in the quiz.
• Quiz Format: Participants answered 30 unique and informative questions, each with a one-minute time limit. The automated quiz system ensured a seamless experience with smooth question transitions.

Organizers & Coordination

The event was well-organized by the Department of Commerce under the leadership of HOD Remya S and Coordinator Elizabeth Paul Chakkachamparambil. A dedicated team of teachers and volunteers played a crucial role in ensuring the event’s success.

At the end of the event, Elizabeth Paul Chakkachamparambil delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants, organizers, and supporters.

Student Achievements & Prize Details

The top five teams from this zonal round advanced to the semi-finals, securing a minimum cash prize of ₹1,000 each. They will now compete against winners from other zonal rounds for a spot in the grand finals at St. Thomas College, Thrissur, in February 2025.

🏆 Winning Team (Finals): ₹10,000
🥈 Four Runner-up Teams: ₹2,500 each
🎟 40 Semi-finalist Teams: Assured ₹1,000 each
