Cybersecurity workshop organised by The Computer Science Department at St. Thomas College (Autonomous), Thrissur

The Computer Science Department at St. Thomas College (Autonomous), Thrissur, organised a cybersecurity workshop on September 27, 2024. Fr. Dr. Anil George delivered the inaugural address, and the event was held in Menachery Hall. The session was presided over by Dr. Sunil Sunny, Dean of
the Career and Placement Cell. Ms. Roshni Varghese, the convenor of the workshop, extended a warm welcome to the attendees. Over 100 participants gained valuable insights into emerging threats and practical strategies for protecting digital assets. Dr. Swapna M. P., Assistant Professor at the Center
for Cyber Security Systems and Networks, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kollam, Kerala, led the workshop. Mr. Manoj Prabhakar K., Security Researcher at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, provided engaging
demonstrations of cybersecurity concepts. Overall, the workshop was a valuable learning experience for all attendees. Participants left with a better understanding of cybersecurity threats and the tools to protect themselves and their organizations.
