St. Thomas College Cadets Shine at Delhi Republic Day Parade 2024

St. Thomas College, Thrissur, proudly celebrates the selection of two of its NCC cadets, Under Officer Aiswarya P. S. and Lance Corporal Jeswal Mejo, for the prestigious 76th Republic Day Parade, scheduled to take place on January 26, 2024, at Kartavya Path, New Delhi.

Among hundreds of cadets chosen from various states, Aiswarya and Jeswal have been selected to represent the Kerala and Lakshadweep contingent. Aiswarya will serve as the Guard of Honour, while Jeswal will participate in the Prime Minister’s Rally, both key events of the Republic Day celebrations.

Aiswarya, a third-year Botany student, hails from Panavally and is the daughter of Shajimon P. K. and Vinitha K. R. Jeswal, a second-year Commerce student from Mundoor, is the son of Mejo K. F. and Sini P. K. The college principal, Rev. Dr. Martin K. A., and NCC officer Captain Dr. Sabu A. S., expressed immense pride and happiness over this achievement, highlighting it as a significant moment for the institution.

This remarkable feat not only underscores the dedication of the cadets but also brings immense honor to the college and the state of Kerala.
