PTA Award Day 2025 at Vimala College, Thrissur: Celebrating Excellence

Vimala College in Thrissur recently hosted the PTA Award Day 2025 to honor outstanding achievements in academics, sports, and research. This annual event, held in memory of the beloved former principal, Dr. Sr. Sobel, was organized by the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) to recognize the hard work and success of students and faculty.

Event Highlights: Inauguration and Keynote Speakers

The PTA Award Day 2025 was inaugurated on 17th February 2025, at 10:30 AM, by Mr. M.B. Rajesh, the Kerala Minister for Local Governments, Rural Development, and Excise. The event was graced by Mr. Paul Thomas, Chairman of ESAF, who served as the chief guest.

The benedictory address was delivered by Rev. Dr. Jose Nandikara, Provincial Superior of the CMI Devamatha Province, who offered inspiring words to the attendees. The function was presided over by Dr. Sr. Magi Jose, President of the PTA and Education Councillor for Higher Education, Nirmala Province, CMC.

Awards and Recognition

The highlight of the event was the recognition of students who excelled in academics and sports. Additionally, faculty members who achieved the remarkable feat of completing their doctoral degrees were also honored.
