MESMER 2025: Vimala College Thrissur Hosts Stunning Fashion Show

The Department of Home Science, Vimala College (Autonomous), Thrissur, hosted MESMER 2025, an exciting fashion show as part of the final presentation of third-year B.Sc. Textiles and Fashion Technology students.

Star-Studded Inauguration

The event was inaugurated by Arya Babu, a renowned Cine Artist, adding glamour to the occasion. The welcome address was delivered by Dr. Thomas Ruby Mariamma, Head of the Department of Home Science.

Leadership and Encouragement

The presidential address was given by Dr. Sr. Beena Jose, Principal of Vimala College, who emphasized the significance of creativity and innovation in fashion. Dr. Agey Pappachan, Assistant Professor, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to everyone involved.

Best Designer Award and Jury Insights

The event concluded with the much-awaited Best Designer Award announcement. The selection was made by judge Shwetha Gopinathan, who shared insights into the winning garment. The chief guest, Dr. Sr. Beena Jose, also shared valuable comments on the students’ outstanding efforts.

Faculty and Student Coordinators

The success of MESMER 2025 was driven by faculty coordinators Suparna M G and Sivani Janardhanan. The student coordinator, Salma Thasni, played a crucial role in organizing the show.
