Dr. Sr. Cleopatra Literary Competitions 2025: Best Literary Artist Crowned at Vimala College, Thrissur

The P.G. Department of English and Research Centre at Vimala College (Autonomous), Thrissur, successfully hosted the Dr. Sr. Cleopatra Literary Competitions 2025 from January 29 to 31, 2025. The event aimed to identify and honor the Best Literary Artist of the academic year 2024-2025.

Event Highlights

Students showcased their literary brilliance in five engaging competitions:
✅ Extempore
✅ Declamation
✅ Versification
✅ Short Story Writing
✅ Caption Writing

After a competitive and inspiring contest, Ardra K Baburaj (S4 B.Com Regular) emerged as the Best Literary Artist, securing the highest points. Sreelakshmi K (S4 B.A. Sociology) and Rajasree Rajeev (S2 M.A. English) were declared the first and second runners-up, respectively.

The competition highlighted the linguistic and creative talents of Kerala’s student community. Vimala College continues to be a hub for nurturing literary talents, encouraging students to express themselves through words and ideas.
