Empowering Youth Workshop at Ansar Arabic College Valavannur Inspires Students and Parents

Valavannur Hosts Youth Empowerment Workshop

Valavannur: The NSS and Women Development Cell (WDC) of Ansar Arabic College, Valavannur, successfully organized a one-day interactive workshop on August 12 to mark International Youth Day.

The event, titled “Empowered Minds, Empowered Lives: Nurturing Youth for Social Belonging”, aimed to inspire and guide both students and parents towards mental well-being and community belonging.

Event Inauguration and Welcome

The workshop was inaugurated by Principal Dr. Abdul Majeed A.I. In his address, he emphasized the importance of empowering youth with the right skills and mindset to contribute positively to society.

Sessions on Youth Empowerment and Mental Well-being

• NSS Coordinators: Raseem Abdul Khader and Afsal Abdul Khader
• WDC Coordinator: Fathimath Suhara V
• Resource Persons: Fathima Sanam and Shamla K – Consultant Psychologists and Founders of Psylom

The interactive sessions covered:

• Youth empowerment strategies
• Mental health awareness
• Building a sense of social belonging

Participants engaged in thought-provoking discussions and activities designed to boost confidence and community connection.
