Event Highlights The memorial lecture, themed “Beyond the Balance Sheet: Emerging Trends in Commerce & Accounting,” featured CA Jeen Paul FCA, Former Chairman of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) – Thrissur Branch.He discussed modern shifts in commerce, emphasizing the growing importance of analytical thinking and digital integration in accounting practices. CA Jeen Paul encouraged students to look beyond traditional balance sheets, urging them to adapt to the changing economic and technological environment shaping India’s financial sector. Dignitaries and Guests The programme began at 10:30 AM with a warm welcome address by Prof. Paulson Chalissery, President of TEACH.Prof. (Dr.) Biju John M, Dean of Arts & Humanities, delivered the presidential address, followed by an inspiring inaugural speech by Rev. Dr. Martin K A, Principal of St. Thomas College. A memento was presented to the chief guest by Prof. (Dr.) Thomas Paul Kattookaran, Former Vice Principal and Head of the Department of Commerce.
