Specifically, the department has scheduled this grand inter-collegiate botanical fest for January 14 and 15, 2026. Moreover, the event promises a vibrant platform for students to showcase their scientific knowledge, artistic skills, and competitive spirit. A Diverse Array of Competitions The organizers curated a wide range of events to ensure inclusivity. To begin with, the fest features “Scientia,” a comprehensive botanical exhibition. Here, visitors can explore rare herbarium collections and witness live demonstrations. Furthermore, the exhibition highlights the intricacies of mushroom cultivation, bridging the gap between theory and practice. Subsequently, for the intellectually inclined, the “Quizora” competition offers a challenging battlefield. Notably, the organizers open this event to Higher Secondary, UG, and PG students. Because the first prize stands at ₹1000, we expect fierce competition. Additionally, teams of two or “lone wolves” can participate, making it flexible for all attendees. Artistic and Digital Challenges In addition to academic events, Prithvi 2k26 Botanical Fest celebrates creativity. The “Inkleaf” botanical illustration contest invites artists to capture nature using only black ink. However, participants must strictly adhere to the guidelines, such as bringing their own stationery. Similarly, the “Ecopix” photography contest challenges students to capture the essence of nature. Crucially, the rules prohibit editing; therefore, the judges will accept only raw images in JPEG format. Finally, the fest embraces modern trends with the “e-Football” tournament. Consequently, gamers gain a unique opportunity to compete in a knockout-style mobile gaming event. Thus, the fest truly offers something for everyone. Registration and Participation Ultimately, this event presents a golden opportunity for students to win cash prizes and gain recognition. Therefore, interested candidates should register immediately. For instance, the coordinators kept registration fees affordable, ranging from ₹50 to ₹100. In conclusion, St. Thomas College invites all students to join this celebration of nature and talent.
