Mega Campus Quiz 2K25 Zonal Round: A Battle of Knowledge at Christ College, Irinjalakuda

The Zonal Round of Mega Campus Quiz 2K25 was successfully conducted at Christ College, Irinjalakuda (Autonomous), on February 4, 2025. The event was jointly organized by Christ College, Irinjalakuda, and St. Thomas College, Thrissur (Autonomous), in association with Catalyst Education and CampusNews.in.

A Grand Kickoff

The event commenced with an inspiring inaugural address by Dr. Xavier Joseph, Vice Principal of Christ College, who emphasized the importance of intellectual challenges in shaping young minds. Mr. Deepak Ravindran, Business Development Manager of Catalyst Education, delivered a felicitation speech, highlighting the role of knowledge-based competitions in enhancing students’ academic growth.

Quiz Format & Execution

The quiz featured 30 unique and intellectually stimulating questions, each with a one-minute time limit. The questions, curated by CampusNews.in, ensured an engaging and educational experience. An automated system facilitated the seamless transition of questions, making the event smooth and dynamic.

Strong Organizational Backing

The event was efficiently organized by the Quiz Club of Christ College, under the leadership of Dr. Digna Varghese. A team of dedicated volunteers played a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of the competition.

Path to the Semi-Finals & Prize Distribution

The top teams from this zonal round have advanced to the semi-finals, securing a minimum prize of ₹1,000. These teams will compete against winners from other zonal rounds, with the semi-finals and finals scheduled at St. Thomas College, Thrissur, in February 2025.

The Mega Campus Quiz 2K25 boasts an attractive total prize pool of ₹60,000, distributed as follows:

✅ Winning team in finals: ₹10,000
✅ Four runner-up teams: ₹2,500 each
✅ 40 teams in semi-finals: Minimum ₹1,000 each
