The NSS units 50 and 167 of St. Joseph’s (Autonomous) College, Irinjalakuda, conducted a free eye check-up camp as part of their seven-day residential camp at St. Don Bosco Girls High School, Kodakara. This initiative was organized in association with the Cochin Eye Foundation and saw active participation from numerous residents of Kodakara Grama Panchayat, who availed of the free services.

One of the standout benefits offered at the camp was a 50% discount on cataract surgeries for those in need. The event was led by NSS Program Officers Smt. Veena Sani and Dr. Ursula N., along with faculty members Manju D. and Dhanya K.D., ensuring seamless execution of the activities.

This effort underscores the commitment of St. Joseph’s College and its NSS units to community service, promoting health and wellness among the local population.
