Kerala campuses once again proved their academic strength through an engaging biotechnology outreach programme.
As part of the Biotechnology National Seminar – BIOCODE (Biotechnology for Economy, Environment and Employment – BIOE3), a one-day academic visit titled “Genescape – Walk with a Scientist” was successfully conducted on 22 January 2026 at KFRI, Thrissur.

This initiative offered students a rare opportunity to connect science with real-world research, right in the heart of Kerala. 🌿


Learning Beyond the Classroom at KFRI Thrissur

The programme was hosted at the Kerala Forest Research Institute (KFRI), a prestigious research centre in the state.
It focused on exposing students to advanced research in forest genetics and biotechnology.

Moreover, the session encouraged scientific curiosity and environmental responsibility among young learners.
