Blood Donation Camp at St. Thomas College Thrissur Inspires Community to Save Lives

Thrissur: The Department of Commerce (SF) at St. Thomas College (Autonomous), Thrissur successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp on Friday, 8th August 2025 at the Kundukulam Seminar Hall.
The camp carried the heartwarming message: “A Drop of Blood – Lifetime of Hope” and aimed to promote voluntary blood donation while raising awareness on the life-saving power of this noble act.

Event Highlights

• Inauguration: The camp was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Biju Panengadan (Executive Manager) in the presence of Rev. Fr. Fijo Joseph (Assistant Bursar) and Dr. T. Sreekumar (HoD, Commerce SF).
• Coordination: Faculty members Ms. Mary Liya K.R and Ms. Reenu Varghese led the event with dedication. Student coordinators Roshan E Shibu and Adi Lakshmy Prasad ensured active participation and smooth operations.
• Participation: The event received an overwhelming response with 99 attendees and 51 voluntary donors stepping forward to make a difference.
