The Department of Psychology at St. Thomas College (Autonomous), Thrissur, successfully continued its National Conference in Psychology today. This event follows the successful inauguration held yesterday, 29 January 2026. Today, 30 January 2026, the focus shifted toward “The Art of Research and Publication in Social Sciences.” Scholars and students gathered at Kaviprathibha Hall at 9:30 a.m. to explore advanced academic techniques.

During the morning session, Dr. Lijo K. J. served as the primary resource person. He is an Assistant Professor at Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Cochin. His session focused on “Research Topic Selection in Social Science.” Because choosing a topic is a vital first step, he provided heuristic insights to help the attendees.
