This event follows the successful inauguration held yesterday, 29 January 2026. Today, 30 January 2026, the focus shifted toward “The Art of Research and Publication in Social Sciences.” Scholars and students gathered at Kaviprathibha Hall at 9:30 a.m. to explore advanced academic techniques. Research Methodology at the National Conference in Psychology During the morning session, Dr. Lijo K. J. served as the primary resource person. He is an Assistant Professor at Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Cochin. His session focused on “Research Topic Selection in Social Science.” Because choosing a topic is a vital first step, he provided heuristic insights to help the attendees. Moreover, he outlined specific algorithmic steps to ensure a systematic approach to academic inquiries. Transitioning into the core of the lecture, Dr. Lijo explained how to identify viable research gaps. He emphasized that researchers must balance personal interest with societal relevance. Therefore, this National Conference in Psychology has become a hub for practical mentorship. Students actively engaged in a Q&A session to refine their individual research interests. Publication Strategies and Global Engagement Later in the day, the program highlighted the importance of high-impact publication. Dr. Fathima Bushra Saliha K. P. from Farook College also shared her expertise. She discussed the nuances of writing for reputable social science journals. Additionally, the event offered virtual presentations for participants who could not attend in person. Consequently, the National Conference in Psychology maintained a broad reach across the country. Furthermore, the atmosphere in Kaviprathibha Hall remained charged with intellectual curiosity throughout the day. Principal Rev. Dr. Martin K.
