Career Enrichment Program at St. Aloysius College Empowers Students with Industry Skills

The PG Department of Commerce, St. Aloysius College, Elthuruth, in association with CORE Institute of Technology, successfully hosted a Career Enrichment Program on 11th August 2025 at J21 Hall. The event focused on boosting career skills, industry readiness, and employability for students in Kerala.

Interactive Session on Career Growth

The program began with a warm welcome address by Mr. Akhil Sunny, faculty member of the Commerce Department.

In his one-hour interactive talk, Mr. Joseph Konikkara emphasized the need for skill acquisition as a key factor in career growth. He highlighted the demand for GST filing courses and other professional certifications as pathways to increased employability in today’s competitive job market.

He also encouraged students to focus on continuous learning, adaptability, and industry-relevant skills to stay ahead in Kerala’s evolving employment landscape.

Acknowledgements and Coordination

The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Avani M.K., a 3rd-year B.Com Computer Applications student.

The event was effectively coordinated by student leaders Anjima K.S. and Athira V.S., under the guidance of faculty coordinators Ms. Femy Moni and Ms. Telma Mathai.
