The project, named JOSEPHAlNE, was developed by students of the B.Voc Mathematics – Artificial Intelligence (AI) department under the guidance of faculty member Anju P. Davis. Event Highlights Inauguration: The official launch of JOSEPHAlNE will be held on January 4, 2025, at the college auditorium. Chief Guest: Dr. R. Bindu, Minister of Higher Education and Social Justice. Special Guest: Dr. Isha Farha Khuraishi, alumna and project advisor. Live Demonstration: The event will feature a live demonstration of JOSEPHAlNE’s features and capabilities. Welcome Speech: Principal Dr. Sister Blessy will commence the event. Key Features of JOSEPHAlNE Facial Recognition: Identify individuals with precision. Voice Assistance: Responds to real-time queries using AI-powered chatbot systems. Navigation Assistance: Helps users access college services via an interactive map. Robotic Library: Supports visually impaired students by locating books and explaining their content. Real-Time Updates: Provides instant information about college activities and resources. Developed with support from I-Hub, 25 students worked collaboratively in five teams to bring this project to life. The goal is to integrate technology into education and community services. Interdisciplinary Excellence The project combines the power of Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, and Robotics, showcasing their practical applications in fields such as: Education Healthcare Public Services This initiative emphasizes solving real-world problems through innovation, aligning with the college’s commitment to fostering student creativity and societal development.
