Seminar on “Digital Addiction and Its Management” Organized by the Department of Psychology, Vimala College

On 11th December 2024, the Department of Psychology at Vimala College (Autonomous), Thrissur, in association with Digital De-addiction Centre organized a seminar on “Digital addiction and its Management”. The resource person of the seminar was Ms. Aneesha Krishnan,  psychologist from the Digital De-addiction Centre, Thrissur City Police. The seminar shed light on the growing concerns of digital addiction. She defined digital addiction, its symptoms, and the criteria for diagnosis. She also discussed the management strategies for digital addiction, providing valuable insights for the attendees. The seminar was informative and engaging, raising awareness about the risks of excessive digital usage.
