The Sweet Alchemy Workshop gave students practical exposure to fruit preservation and value-added product development. The Department of Food Technology organised the workshop on 25th July 2026 at the Kitchen Lab. The event helped students strengthen practical skills while exploring career opportunities in the food processing industry.

The Department of Food Technology organised “Sweet Alchemy – Workshop on Fruit Preservation and Value-Added Product Development” on 25th July 2026 at the Kitchen Lab.

The workshop offered students direct experience in fruit preservation techniques. They also learned the preparation of jams, jellies, and other value-added fruit products.

The prepared products were judged by Dr. Shaju Ouseph, beloved Principal, and Mr. Joan John, Chef and Production Head, Department of Hotel Management.
