The PG Department of Commerce organised the workshop on 10 August 2026. The programme took place from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the NCAS Seminar Hall. It introduced students to startup ideation, business planning, entrepreneurship opportunities, and incubation support. The initiative reflects the growing focus on entrepreneurship education in Kerala campuses. It also encouraged students to consider innovative business ideas as possible career paths. Nirmala College Organises Entrepreneurship Workshop The PG Department of Commerce, Nirmala College of Arts and Science, Meloor, organised the workshop titled “Fostering Entrepreneurial Mindset through Startup Ideation, Business Planning and Incubation Support.” The session aimed to strengthen the entrepreneurial mindset among students. It also familiarised participants with key areas involved in developing and supporting new business ventures. The workshop was conducted on 10 August 2026 at the NCAS Seminar Hall. Ms. Priya P. K Leads the Session Ms. Priya P. K, Industries Extension Officer, Chalakudy Block, Municipality & Taluk Industries Office, Mini Civil Station, Mukundapuram, handled the session. Her session focused on practical aspects of entrepreneurship and startup development. Students gained exposure to the process of shaping innovative ideas into potential business ventures. The programme also introduced students to available entrepreneurship opportunities and incubation support. Students Gain Practical Startup Insights The interactive session gave students practical insights into entrepreneurship. It helped them understand how innovative ideas can develop into viable business ventures.
